When testing the screen, do not remove any protective film or tags. Ground yourself with an ESD (electrostatic discharge) strap to prevent static electricity from damaging the electronic components. Always wear eye protection and handle the glass carefully to avoid cuts from splinters.
Tip 2: Simulated Testing
As screen replacements are fragile, we strongly recommend testing the new screen before installation. Simulate the testing process by connecting the motherboard and the new LCD screen with the audio cable, powering on the device. If the screen functions correctly, you can proceed with installation. If it does not display, please contact us immediately. Do not force the installation if the screen is unresponsive.
Tip 3: Avoid Over-Bending the Cable
Ensure that the LCD cable is not bent excessively; bending it over 90 degrees can lead to a black display.
